The New York Islanders announced Thursday they have begun offering purified water for the home use of fans and players.
“The Islanders have made an effort to make our home ice surface as clean and inviting as possible,” Isles general manager Garth Snow said in a statement.
“We are very pleased to partner with Purewater.com, which offers purification products for our fans, to bring our fans an easy-to-use purifier water for their home and away games.”
Com was founded in December 2018, and offers a variety of purified water solutions, including water purifiers, water filtration systems, and water filters for home and business use.
The company also has products to clean water from the water supply, ice, and storm water.
The Islanders, who have a home ice program, have previously said they will offer purified water during games and practices for fans who want to use it.
The team has said that fans who use Purewater products should use it as directed.
